Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program

It is an employer-led pilot that aims to bring candidates to a region to fill positions that Canadian citizens and permanent residents are not available to fill.

To hire through the AIP, employers do not need a Labour Market Impact Assessment. Instead, they need to meet requirements to become designated employers to make job offers.

Atlantic High-Skilled Program

Skilled workers with management, professional or technical/skilled job experience. There also are other requirements. The work offer must last for a minimum of one year.

Atlantic Intermediate-Skilled Program

The Atlantic Intermediate-Skilled Program is aimed toward candidates for jobs requiring a highschool education and/or job-specific training. There also are other requirements. the work offer must be permanent.

Atlantic International Graduate Program

Candidates who have a degree, diploma or other credential from a publicly-funded institution in an Atlantic province. Work experience isn’t required. The work offer must last for a minimum of one year.

Provincial Endorsement

Each job offer made through the Atlantic Immigration Pilot requires provincial endorsement.

Candidates should not submit a permanent residence application until they receive a Certificate of Endorsement.
